Facelift
or Ryhtidectomy is a cosmetic surgical
procedure to help restore youthfulness to loose
skin folds and laxity of tissues in the facial
areas. The procedure is generally done via the
removal of excess facial skin, tightening of
the underlying tissues and the re-draping of
skin over the face and / or neck. The incisions
involved vary and depend on pre-existing skin
lines, wrinkles and hairlines, thought they
are mostly inconspicuous. When combined with
non-surgical treatments such as BOTOX®,
Ryhtidectomy can achieves dramatic results on
the face and give the patients a much more youth
appearance.
Neck Lift is a similar
procedure to the facelift with the only difference
being it is targeted at the neck area. The procedure
is commonly used to correct the appearance of
sagging neck by tightening loose neck skin,
sculpting away neck fat and enhancing the bands
which often appear on matured necks.
Browlift, also known
as a forehead lift or Browplasty, is a procedure
used to elevate drooping eyebrows and remove
prominent forehead lines caused by normal ageing.
This is done by freeing up the forehead skin,
allowing it to be lifted vertically whilst the
muscles are thinned up to soften frown lines.
The results are dramatic enhancements to the
upper eyelid skin excess, brow wrinkles and
eyebrow position.
The facelift, neck lift
and browlift procedures are often simultaneously
conducted along with other cosmetic surgical
procedures such as Blepharoplasty to give the
patient’s face an overall youthful look.
